Betty Boo – WA

Betty Boo came to DRA after being abandoned in a residential park. She sure had her challenges to face, but she was in the good care of DRA now. Betty underwent a huge surgery to remove a 12cm lipoma on her tiny chest, large growth on her check, 3 mammary tumours and 2 teeth! The day after her stitches came out, she was adopted into her forever home. In the past three months, Betty’s life has changed dramatically for the better. She beat an episode of aspiration pneumonia and is on medication to help with her Cushing’s disease. As you can see in the photos Betty has come a long way and is looking happier and lighter. Betty still has some medical challenges to face, but this senior girl tackles everything with such strength and resilience and she will definitely have the love and support of her family and her adopted sister Bella by her side.

Betty loves car rides and going out to the farm stables where the fresh air, freedom and smells just delight her. She loves her walks and snuggles with her mum and dad. Betty always wags her tail, so much that we think it’s going to fall off and will go up to anyone for a pat, only to promptly roll on her back to receive endless belly rubs. Betty is such a delightful addition to our family, and we are extremely grateful to DRA and all the people who have supported and cheered for Betty to get the love and care she so rightfully deserves. Mission accomplished DRA!
