Meet Dash 🌟

Dash is a young Dachshund with a loving heart, playful spirit, and plenty of personality. Like many young dachshunds, he is still learning about the world and can be a little anxious at times, so he is searching for a calm, understanding home that will continue to guide him with patience, consistency, and love.

Dash thrives when he feels included as part of the family. He would love a home where he can snuggle on the lounge, join in daily life, play games, go for walks, and simply spend quality time with his people. He is affectionate, loyal, and happiest when close to those he trusts. He would benefit from someone around the home most often.

He has had positive interactions with children, however Dash would be best suited to a home with older children who understand dog boundaries and can respect when he needs space.

Dash enjoys walks and adventures, though he is still working on his confidence and manners out and about. He can be a little vocal at times, so his new family will need to be committed to continuing his training and helping him feel secure in new situations.

He currently lives with other dachshunds and enjoys canine company, however slow and thoughtful introductions are important when meeting new dogs. Dash may benefit from living with another calm, friendly dachshund companion, provided the match and introductions are handled correctly.
