Network & Educate

Please promote DRA online and at the park. Share posts on social media and when friends and family are looking to add a dachshund to their family, please send them to us and encourage them to consider adoption first.

Volunteer at Events

We participate in several events in the community, please join us! Help us get the word out about the events on social media, at your work, church, school . . . anywhere you meet up with people. We often need help at these events so please let us know if you're available.

Host an Event or Fundraiser

Consider hosting a bake sale, organize a raffle, host a dachshund meet-up etc... Contact us and we can help you get the resources you need to create an amazing event.

Administration

We are always looking for dachshund loving humans to help out behind the scenes. From grant writing, newsletters, education campaigns, database updates, photography to sponsorship enquiries and more. If you have skills which you think could benefit us, please get in touch.

Transportation

We have dachshunds being surrendered, in foster, being adopted or requiring veterinary care all across Australia. Depending on the circumstance, we always need volunteers to help with transport.

Donate

Monetary donations are always appreciated and go towards vet bills and other rehoming costs.

Foster

Provide love, care, and a home for one (or more!) of our dachshunds until they are ready to find their family.

Adopt

Instead of adopting through a breeder or pet store, adopt one of our amazing dachshunds. Your life will never be the same!
