Little Miss Frankies living situation has had a recent change.  She spent the first part of her life living the country dream….open spaces to do zoomies, birds to bark at and plenty of backyard smells.   But her owners had to move to an apartment, and Frankie hasnt adapted well to this change.  The sounds of other neighbours in such close proximity unsettles Frankie and she vocalises her displeasure.

In a different environment, we think that Frankie will make a delightful little companion as she ticks so many boxes!

• Smoochy little girl who loves to scope out the snuggliest lap to sit on.
• Has grown up around children and enjoys their company.
• Loves, loves, loves going for walks….her new owner must be prepared to take her for outings where she can take in the sights and sounds of different environments.
• Frankie loves to meet other little dogs.  Like most dachshunds she will bark initially but settles down after being introduced. (she did used to live with a cavoodle)
• Frankie is toilet trained and has used a crate previously.

Frankie would be best being placed with an owner who is either retired, works from home or only works part-time.  She is such a sweetie pie with her people that she really doesnt like being left alone for too long.   A relatively quiet, calm house where Frankie has a regular routine would be ideal.  She also LOVES sunbaking so a backyard with lots of little sunny spots is high on her wish list.
