We had been thinking about getting another dachshund to keep our 7-year-old company and came across a DRA Facebook post of a lovely little boy who was looking for a home. I had seen DRA’s name around on social media and recognized that a lot of people had recommended them, so we put in an application.

From there the process was extremely smooth and well supported throughout. Andie made contact with us and helped to set up a meet and greet and handled all of the communication for us. DRA’s process has thought of absolutely every detail, and we found everything very supportive. They were very responsive to any questions that we had and gave us lots of tips to make sure the process went as successfully as possible.

I’m very pleased to say that after the DRA trial period we were thrilled that our new family member was going to be staying with us! I would absolutely recommend DRA to anyone interested in rescuing or rehoming a dachshund.
