Meet Frankie ❤️

Frankie is an absolutely delightful little Dachshund girl who has quickly settled into foster care and captured everyone’s hearts. She has a sweet, loving nature and thrives on companionship, cuddles and being close to her people and doggy friends.

Frankie is settling beautifully into a home environment. She is eating very well, has lovely manners around food, and is learning routines such as sitting before meals and waiting at doorways. She shares meal times happily alongside another Dachshund without any fuss or guarding behaviours. She is also navigating stairs confidently and sleeps beautifully through the night cuddled up in bed, happily waiting until morning for toilet time.

She currently lives with a 15-month-old Dachshund and enjoys the company of another dog very much. Frankie would ideally be rehomed to a home with a friendly resident dog, as she does not enjoy being completely alone and gains a lot of comfort and confidence from canine companionship. She has also been learning to coexist with a cat and is adjusting well.

Frankie is happiest when her humans are nearby. In a home environment where people are around during the day, she settles beautifully, happily sleeping, playing and enjoying life like any content little dog. She is not particularly fond of rainy weather or toileting outside when it’s wet — very typical Dachshund behaviour!

This precious little girl is affectionate, gentle and incredibly loving. Frankie will thrive in a calm, caring home where she can continue building confidence, enjoy plenty of companionship, and be treated as a cherished member of the family. She truly is a special little soul who deserves the very best home. ♥️
