Hughie (NSW)

At the tender age of less than 6 months old, Hughie had already been delivered back to his registered breeder when it was discovered he had an undescended testicle. The breeder promptly on sold him for the second time to another home where he would be alone all day whilst they were at work. Hughie was beside himself when left alone, throwing himself against the walls and door, crying all day. Heartbroken and with no advice or help from the breeder his owners decided that Hugie's needs had to come first to avoid any further distress to him and surrendered him to DRA. Hughie is now in a home where there is a beautiful established female dachshund called Polly. She has helped Hughie cope when their owners leave the home and although they are both a little sad when left, they take themselves off to bed to sleep the time away. Luckily being a busy family home, they are never alone for long periods. Hughie's new family fell in love with him from the very first day and his days are spent enjoying the garden, playing, receiving cuddles and laptime. Hughie... We are so happy that you are now in a home where your needs are met and you are the living the life you deserve.
