Lenny is a gorgeous dachshund with a gentle nature and a big love for human connection. He’s looking for a calm, loving home where he can truly settle in and feel safe.

Lenny thrives in an environment where someone is home most of the time, as he loves companionship and being close to his people. He forms strong bonds and is especially comfortable around females, while he may take a little extra time to warm up to men—but with patience and kindness, he gets there.

He would do beautifully in a home with older children who understand how to be gentle, or with an elderly couple looking for a devoted, cuddly companion. Lenny absolutely adores snuggling up and being part of everyday life.

He is crate trained and has previously lived happily with another dog, so he may suit a home with a calm canine companion.
