Minnie is a gorgeous 3-year-old Black and Tan Miniature Dachshund looking for a special forever home.

Sadly, not much is known about Minnie’s past. She was rescued by a lovely couple who gave her a safe place to land and have worked hard to help her feel secure. They care for her deeply and only want the best for Minnie. She is now looking for her forever home.

Minnie is a sweet little girl who loves being close to her people. Because of her uncertain start in life, she experiences separation anxiety and can become distressed when left alone. She is looking for a family who understands that building confidence takes time and who can help her continue her journey with patience, consistency, and love.

Minnie would thrive with someone who is home much of the time or able to gradually work on her confidence and independence. In return, you’ll have a loyal companion who simply wants to be by your side.
