If you are looking for a devoted exercise buddy to take on longer walks, Norah is your girl!

Norah, (Black & tan, mini smooth) is the smoochiest little dachie whose idea of heaven is to take a long walk with you most days, and then snuggle up on the couch with you to wind down.  She is a perfect little dachshund and as her owner says “an absolute character and a good companion that will love and amuse you daily”

• Norah loves being around children and will happily involve herself in their games.  She gets very excited, so we think children over 10yrs would be best suited.  She just craves affection and even when out on walks will gravitate towards people hoping for bonus pats and cuddles.
• Norah is also quite clever and has learnt the commands sit, stay, come and turn around.  (although she might need a brush up on these skills)
• She also has been well socialised with other dogs, and with a slow introduction will soon bond with with other nice natured dogs.
• Norah is toilet trained, she has previously used a doggy door.
• A chicken neck or cooked chicken is definitely one of Norah’s favourite treats, her little tail will start wagging in anticipation.

Norah needs company and to be around her family (dogs/humans) constantly, being alone makes her sad and anxious.  We think that an active family would be perfect for Norah.   She is quite adaptable to most scenarios as long as her need for companionship and a daily walk is met.
