Obi is a dear little dachshund who shadows his special person, wherever she goes. His love and loyalty are unsurpassed. Although this may sound endearing, it comes at a cost. Obi-wan has developed separation anxiety now mum is working away from home. He whines, barks and chews skirting boards. Obi also believes  he is the only dog deserving of attention. Scuffles and nips have occurred when his female companion has vied for a pat or belly rub.

• As Obi is a young dachshund with high energy, he needs daily walks, a garden to explore and space to have a good run.
• No other dogs or pets, except perhaps a placid and submissive dachshund who is prepared to play second fiddle
• Older school aged children or teenagers  who are quiet and unperturbed by a dachshund who nips with excitement, bossiness and affection. They must also be prepared to help train him to be a better boy.
