Odin is patiently waiting, wagging his tail in anticipation!

Odin is a high-spirited and friendly young dachshund that is all about love, affection, and playtime!  With energy to spare and a big heart to match, Odin is ready to embark on life’s excitement and adventures with his new family.

Odin naturally gravitates towards older children, thriving on their bustling energy levels and eager willingness for unlimited playtime.   Odin hasn’t been tested yet with male dogs, but we have been advised that he enjoys the company of small female dogs.

A lover of all things exercise, Odin enjoys a good walk every day and will always be ready to hit the pavement with you.  New and different environments incite his enthusiastic interest and stimulate his already sparkling personality.  Whether it’s a stroll around the neighborhood or a trek in the local park, Odin is eager and ready to experience it all.  Endless playtime is Odin’s concept of a perfectly spent day.  Whether a game of tug, chasing after a ball, or a friendly wrestle, Odin is happiest when engaged in activities that allow him to expend his playful energy.

Despite his youthful spirit, Odin is continuously learning and growing.  He’s still mastering his ‘adult manners’, which requires some patience and understanding.  His ideal family would include a breed-experienced owner who can lovingly guide him through this learning phase.  Odin has been mostly living outside, however Odin would love to be be inside with his family so somebody who can introduce Odin to the joys of night time couch cuddles and waking up in a warm cosy inside bed will be high on his wish list.   Odin has been crate trained.

Odin’s joviality, charm, and unwavering thirst for adventure make him a delightful addition to any active family, preferably with experienced dog owners and older children.  Are you ready to go on life’s exciting journey together with this loveable guy?
