Ralph is sensitive sausage.  He loves to be indoors snuggling on the couch or laying in a sunny spot. He loves to sleep next to the heater with his family on cold nights and will ask nicely to be tucked into his bed for the night.

His world has changed significantly with a baby arriving into the home. Ralph isn’t too fond of little people, they make him unsettled.

On his wish list is a quiet location or a peaceful spot in the suburbs or countryside. Ralph loves his daily walks but would prefer to be walked in a quiet area where he doesn’t meet many other dogs.

Ralph’s forever home would be with a calm family, no kids, that is retired or home a lot of the time.

Currently Ralph has been prescribed medication for reactiveness and anxiousness, but he is a calm, happy little boy when conditions are right. He would suit an owner with breed experience that is looking for companionship.

Ralph is a loving companion and doesn’t suffer from separation anxiety. He is house trained. Ralph goes to holiday boarding with other dachshunds and has no issues, so may settle well in a home with other dachshunds.

Ralph is a very regretful rehoming.  No flights.
