Ruby is a gorgeous 4-year-old long-haired miniature Dachshund looking for her forever family.

She is a loving, social little girl who enjoys being around people and would thrive in a home where she can be part of the family. Ruby has grown up with young children. Ruby loves her walks and soaking up attention from her humans.

Like a true Dachshund, Ruby is alert and likes to have her say, so her new family should appreciate the charming and vocal nature of the breed.

Ruby has previously lived  as an outside dog and will need continued support with toilet training and adjusting to indoor family life. She will benefit from patience, routine, and positive reinforcement as she settles into her new environment.

Ruby has grown up with another dachshund but would be equally happy lapping up all the attention for herself. She would prefer to live in a cat free environment.

We are looking for a caring home committed to giving Ruby the time, structure, and love she deserves. In return, she will bring loyalty, affection, and plenty of personality to her new family.
