Rudy & Duke – Bonded Brothers Looking for Their Forever Home 🐾

Meet Rudy and Duke, two beautiful Dachshund boys who are ready to leave their difficult past behind and find a loving forever home together. These sweet boys appear to be brothers and share an incredibly close bond after being dumped and left unwanted earlier in life. Despite their tough start, they are learning what safety, comfort and love truly feel like in foster care.

Currently living in foster care, Rudy and Duke are healthy, thriving, and will be vaccinated and desexed before heading to their forever family.

These boys must be rehomed together, as Duke relies heavily on Rudy for confidence and reassurance. Rudy is the outgoing social butterfly of the pair — friendly, affectionate and quick to make friends with everyone he meets. He has a distinctive white patch on his chest which makes him easy to spot. Duke, with his beautiful mismatched eyes, is the quieter and more cautious brother. New situations can make him nervous at first, and he will often hide until he feels safe, but with patience and kindness he warms up beautifully.

They absolutely love being close to one another, often found cuddling together or quietly following each other around the house. Their bond is truly special.

Rudy and Duke are currently living with three cats and are doing very well. They also seem to get along nicely with other animals once they feel comfortable and settled into their environment.

These boys are looking for a calm, loving home where they can continue building confidence and finally experience the stability they deserve. A patient family willing to give Duke time to adjust, while enjoying Rudy’s affectionate personality, would be ideal.
