Stripy had to be rehomed as he had an altercation with the family's guinea pigs. His new owner has called him Reggie and he has settled down wonderfully well in his new home. His new owner has written her story below.
"Losing my little dachshund girl last year left me devastated and I wasn't sure if I'd ever be ready for a new dachshund in my life. Fast forward 9 months, and an application to DRA bought the gorgeous Reggie into my life.
Reggie is full of so much love and positive energy. He is sweet, happy and adored by everyone who meets him. He loves our life of park walks, cafe visits and has made so many new doggy friends. But he is most happy at home, chasing a ball, destroying his toys, demanding belly rubs and burying random objects in the garden. He loves to snuggle on the couch or curl up on my lap for a cuddle.
I can't thank DRA enough for matching us together, he is the perfect match for me....and I think Reggie is pretty happy too."
