Our fur babies Bonnie & George moved in on 3/8 & settled in within 48 hours. They have met our grandchildren & made friends quickly. They have chosen their allocated positions on the lounge & in the bedroom. They are a joy to have in our home. Our experience with DRA has been exceptional, especially with Andrea. Dear little Heidi the dachshund has found her forever home, and it’s a perfect match! Golden girl Heidi didn’t just find an adopter – she found her soul mate. From the moment she locked eyes with her new human, she hasn’t left their side. Now, Heidi is living in a beautiful country home with a wonderful mix of fur friends and loving humans. She’s settling in beautifully, embracing each day of her twilight years with contentment and joy. Her new family adores her, and Heidi is finally at peace in the serene, nurturing environment she deserves. It’s the perfect place for her to enjoy her golden years surrounded by love.

Grogu now known as Snickers is really thriving in his new home! 🐾 It’s wonderful to hear that he’s enjoying his backyard adventures and bush walks. His love for cuddles in the sun must be so heartwarming to see. 🌞 When he first went on trial his new owners were fearful that he would not settle in as he had not been fully socialised. He is still feeling some anxiety around new people and dogs, but it’s great that he’s slowly gaining confidence. With the love and support of his new owners, he’ll continue to grow even more comfortable. It’s clear he’s found a truly loving forever home 🏡

Jagger found himself looking for a new home as his owner had to go into care . Being an affectionate little bloke it didn't take long before he found a lovely family who had a little girl just like him to come forward to adopt. His new forever family write "Jagger has settled into our family seamlessly. From the moment we brought him home, he has been a happy, playful and loving dog. He spends his days doing “Zoomies” around the backyard with his new sister Maggie, sleeping in the sun, checking in on me while I work and waiting eagerly for the kids to get home from school so he can play some more. In the evenings Jagger loves nothing more than to snuggle on the couch with us while we watch TV. " Jagger is a very welcome addition to our home and family.

Alfie wasn't enjoying life, his family had young children and a very busy household. They came to DRA to find Alfie a forever home. We are thrilled Alfie has been adopted by a loving retired couple in "idyllic" Bright. Alfie is a lucky boy, constant company, cuddles and no pesky children to annoy him! He is ball crazy, a large expansive garden is picture perfect for Alfie. It's delightful seeing dachshund and adopters a perfect match. Happy Days ahead xx

Due to their career change Otis' owners decided they couldn't give him the time hat he needed so they made the difficult decision to rehome him. A loving family who had already adopted the adorable Bella applied to adopt him and a meet and greet was arranged. The meet and greet went well, and although Bella was indifferent to Bella on the day, the family decided to take him home on trial Gradually, Bella began to accept Otis and they have become the best of friends The family decided to adopt Otis and he is living a wonderful life with his new sister Bella.
