Archie the dachshund's journey has come full circle in the most heartwarming way! After leaving his original seaside home, he’s now found happiness along the same coastline with his new adoptive family. Here, Archie shares his days with his new best buddy, another dachshund who quickly became his closest friend. Together, they explore the beach and bush, their tails wagging with excitement on each adventure. When the day winds down, you’ll find them lounging on the porch, basking in the sunset and soaking up the serene coastal views. Little Bear, the 10-month-old dachshund puppy, has found his forever home. He quickly settled into his beautiful new surroundings, forming an instant bond with his new best friend and partner in crime, another dachshund. The pair spend their days playing zoomies, racing around with boundless energy, basking in the sun, and enjoying cozy family time on the couch. Bear’s days are now filled with joy, companionship, and endless fun, as he embraces his new life with his beloved friend and a family that provides all the love and care he could ever need.

Velvet came into DRA with a very dubious story about her past, but fortunately that is all behind her now and she has not looked back. With her beautiful new name, Lottie, she is living the life with her new dachshund brother Chief. Lottie and Chief like to start their days taking mum and dad for their morning coffee walk to catch up with their furry friends the maltese terrier and dalmations. Lottie loves spending time in her new garden discovering all the nooks and crannies which prevously only the cat knew about. Although Lottie adores the cat he is still yet to return the love but we are confident it won't take too much longer as it's very difficult to resist her beautiful charm.

Handsome Dash has had a big change in his life and was adopted by a young couple and their dachshund Peanut. "Dash has been such a wonderful addition to our little family bringing his little energetic and adventurous personality. We have fallen so in love with him already and Peanut and Dash have made fast friends. We also wanted to thank DRA for everything you do. It has been reassuring to have them helping and supporting us through the process" Thankyou for choosing to adopt a rescue dachshund!

Gorgeous Jiggy the dachshund has found his new home and is thriving in his new environment. He loves his homelife with a garden and humans around all day. Adding to his joy, he has a new best buddy, a large schnauzer, to hang out with. Each day is an adventure for Jiggy, whether it's exploring a new beach or park. His days are filled with excitement, companionship, and the loving presence of his family. Jiggy's new life is one of happiness and discovery, as he embraces every moment with enthusiasm and delight.

Alfie the dachshund has found his forever home! His profile page melted many hearts, leading to an influx of potential adoption applications. Great care was taken to ensure a perfect match for Alfie, finding new parents who have the time, love, and patience to build his confidence and teach him about self-worth. Now adored and the centre of attention, Alfie is starting the first days of his new life with a family dedicated to his happiness and well-being. His new parents are committed to providing the love and support he needs to thrive, ensuring Alfie’s journey is filled with joy, security, and endless affection. Alfie's days are now bright with promise, surrounded by those who cherish him.

Master Ollie, found himself find new home when his owner needed to move overseas. It was quite an urgent situation, so we enlisted the help from one of our valued trusted foster carers. Little did we know that this one seemed to capture the heart strings, and he has now been adopted. He was set in his ways however even the Dachshund whisperer Ms Julie, has turned some naughty behaviors into new good boy traits. This was a beautiful story, and we are all so grateful for Julie stepping up once again for us at Dachshund Rescue Australia,
