Lily – Perth WA

Sweet little Lily has now been adopted together with her brother Cedar. We are sure that these two gorgeous puppies will bring a lot of joy and happiness to their new owners. They may be double the trouble but they will definitely be more than double the fun!

Cosmos – WA

Cosmos is another of our little puppies that came into DRA with his mum Ashleigh, dad Simba, Uncle Bobby and his 6 litter siblings. Cosmos thrived whilst being in the care of his foster mum and is now ready to start the next chapter of his life. Cosmos is now in his new home where he is on the receiving end of plenty of cuddles, smooches and kisses by his besotted new owners. He is also a lucky boy to have two older dachshund sisters to keep him entertained. We wish you all the best Cosmos!

Rebecca (4) Black & Tan Mini Smooth – South Perth WA

We had a call from a local vet to pick up this little girl who had been left with them. They cared for her overnight and a wonderful foster carer called Rebecca picked her up to look after her until she could be rehomed. We called her Rebecca after her wonderful foster Mum. It didn't take long to find wonderful adopters Alison and her partner who had had previous experience with rescues. They have now called her Princess Margaret and continue her story as folllows:- "When we picked Maggie up from her wonderful foster carer she was terrified, clinging to us for reassurance the world was big and very scary to her. During the first few days she remained cautious and observant, slowly warming up and relaxing in our home and not worrying about where she was going next. Within a few days she was happily running around and checking out all her favourite sun baking spots. Mitch, our resident senior boy approved her presence and we became family. She is the sweetest most gentle little girl, my shadow snuggle buddy. She loves to follow me around the garden, is curious about every plant I am tending and loves sticking her nose in every little crack. Walks in the first few days were huge and overwhelming for Maggie, she clearly hadn't been in the world at all. So we took it slow, just pottering up our road and when Maggie wanted to stop we stopped, reassured her and then moved on when she was ready. Within a week she was bounding out the door and up the road, the world not so scary, but now interesting! She's now a big fan of our local park and does several circuits to check all the smells. She's great with other dogs but confused /curious when they want to play. Right now she wants.to watch the other dogs and that's cool. She has many new fans in our family and friends, and most importantly a new Nanna ( my partner Emma's mum) whom she adores. She had her desex in week 2 with us and handled the dreaded cone with great grace. Well she is a princess and is our little girl now . We adore her and have many adventures planned in the next few months so Maggie will get to see even more of the world. We will go to Margaret River to visit friends in May and a holiday in Denmark in September. Welcome to our world Maggie it is so good to have you with us. "

Ashleigh – Perth WA

Ashleigh is the most beautiful little girl who came into DRA with her 7 gorgeous puppies. The adorable family were not in very good shape when they were collected, but thanks to their amazing foster carer, veterinary care and nourishing food they were soon all happy, healthy and thriving. Throughout their ordeal, Ashleigh proved herself to be the most loving and caring young mother to her puppies as well as to everyone she met. After all her hard work ensuring her puppies were adequately looked after, it was time to find her a loving home to call her own. Ashleigh is now settled into her new home. where she has a family that adore her. She's treated as the princess she is and is the centre of their world.

Simba – Perth WA

Gorgeous Simba is loving life on the vast rural property. He was rehomed with his BBF Bobby and now the boys have another brother Comet to join in their games of chase. Simba loves going on long walks around the property, playing, sleeping and being a smoochy boy with his new owners.

Vienna & Frankie (13&8) Red Mini smooths Howrah Tasmania

Frankie and Vienna are a bonded pair who needed to find a home together and along came Mikhala and her partner who were happy to provide a wonderful home for these 2 seniors. Mikhala tells us that they have settled in swimmingly 😊They enjoy spending their days snuggled up on the couch, or demanding attention from nearby idle hands that could be put to better use giving head pats and affection! Their next favourite activities include going on their morning walks about the town, roaming around the veggie patch, and keeping a close eye on the chickens. We're afraid that in only a few short weeks they've been absolutely spoiled rotten, and we hope that they continue to be so for many more years to come!

Trevor (3) sydney

Little Trevor has found a lovely family in Victoria. We are very grateful for foster carer Lisa that cared for him, whilst his forever home was found. This little chap, is spoilt rotten. He has landed on all four paws in the lap of luxury. We thank his adopters for making the road trip interstate to collect him. We look forward to hearing more about Trevor enjoying life !
