Albert & Dudley Crowdy Head
We decided to adopt an older dog as we had a beautiful experience with our last older dog. We received our call for Albert and Dudley on my daughters birthday only to find out these beautiful boys were born on my birthday. They have settled in very well two walks a day, exploring the backyard and following me from room to room, cuddles on the lounge and using the dog door after a few mishaps. Polite when eating they have bought so much joy to our house. These dogs are such a credit to their last owner so well mannered and I thank everyone at DRA for making it a smooth process.
Bobby – Perth WA
Beautiful Bobby with his easy going nature is happily settled into his new home on a large rural property. Bobby was rehomed together with his best friend Simba and now the boys have a new brother, Comet. Although Comet was a little spooked by their arrival they are all getting used to each other and like to play chase. Bobby enjoys his long walks around the property checking all is in order.
Reuben – Victoria
When DRA first called me, they said “do you feel like you’ve just won tattslotto?” 100% we have!
The experience we had with DRA was second to none. The thankless hours the team put into rehoming these beautiful babes is priceless and so appreciated. No question was ever an inconvenience.
Reuben has brought so much love and life into our family. Always by your feet with a waggy tail and smiling face.
He was already fairly well trained, except for his pulling on the lead, most likely in a rush to find some puddles to spash through.
Reuben is known to fall asleep on our laps/desk, and start snoring during Teams meetings.
Loves a bit of nibble play fighting with the boys of the house but always follows it up with loads of kisses and cuddles.
Reuben and our old girl Penny have become great friends and has given Penny comfort that she has missed since our Parker passed a few years ago. There’s a bit of a competition to see who gets the lap time but they’re pretty good at sharing it around between us.
We are so thankful to DRA and Reuben’s previously family for allowing us to welcome in into our home. It’s like he was meant for us from the beginning. 💜
Daisy – WA
Sweet little Daisy (now Moxie) came into DRA with her mum and 6 litter siblings. She was a tiny little girl but thanks to the care of her foster mum, she has now grown big and strong enough to be adopted. Daisy arrived at her new home and had to endure lots of sniffs and licks from her new dachshund family who were very curious to meet such a gorgeous puppy! Daisy's new family also consists of 5 humans which means that she will always have a lap to snuggle on, plenty of tummy rubs and lots of playtime. We know she's going to have a great life ahead of her! Special thanks again to our amazing foster mum.
Cedar – Perth WA
Cedar has been adopted together with his litter sister Lily. This gorgeous duo will no doubt be a lot of work but we also know they are little bundles of joy and they will bring a lot of laughter and happiness with them. Have fun Cedar and Lily! We wish you well.
Thank you to our amazing foster carer for looking after Cedar, Lily, their 5 siblings and mum Ashleigh.
Basil – WA
Basil is a gorgeous little boy who came in to DRA with his 6 litter siblings, mum Ashleigh, dad Simba and Uncle Bobby.
After being cared for by our amazing foster, he is now ready to leave the coup and head off into the big wide world!
Basil is settling in nicely with his new big dachshund sister Maggie who is there to look after him and show him the ropes. We know that these two will have plenty of fun times together. Thank you to all involved.
Florent – Perth WA
Florent is one of the adorable puppies that were rescued by DRA. He is now a happy, healthy and thriving little boy with a beautiful future ahead of him. He has a bigger sister Nellie who is a well adjusted dachshund to show him how it's all meant to be. Florent is quickly coming out of his shell and proving himself to be a little energetic bundle of joy. Thank you to all involved in his adoption.
