Greta, 10yo & Bert, 13yo. South East Queensland.

Bert and Greta are our senior sweeties that have gone to spend their retirement in the country. Life has had a complete change for them. Every day they go for a walk to patrol the borders and sus out all the country smells and sights that they havent been exposed to before. They still arent quite sure what to make of those bouncing kangaroos though! We are so happy that Bert and Greta have been able to stay together, and we cant thank their new owners enough for stepping up and opening their hearts and home to this gorgeous pair.

Lola – CRANEBROOK N.S.W

We wanted to say a BIG thank you to the DRA tribe for helping us adopt our sweet little Lola. Our whole family is totally in love, including our best boy Ned. You made the process so easy knowing you were just a phone call or text message away. The support and advice you gave us was exceptional. Lola took a month or so to really settle in but with routine and lots of walks and lots of patience and love it feels like we have had her from a puppy. Thank you SO SO much. Katrina and family, and of course Ned and Lola xx DRA are overjoyed for this beautiful little family

Travis- Hallam – VIC

Travis is a gorgeous little boy who is playful, energetic and very loving. Luckily for Travis, he is well suited to his new forever home and his adoptive family fell in love with him from the moment they met him. In the short time that he has been in his new home, the daily routine is now well and truly revolved around Travis. He brings a lot of happiness into the home and life before his arrival is a distant memory. He travels in the mornings to help with the school drop off and cries when the kids get out of the car but luckily mum is with him during the day providing lots of cuddles. After dinner is Travis' favourite time of the day when the whole family take him to the beach for some family fun time playing in the sand.

Tash Sydney

Tash, the delightful dachshund, has found her perfect forever home. Her new family adores her, showering her with affection and care. Tash also gained a new dachshund brother, and the two have become inseparable playmates. They spend their days chasing each other around the yard, sharing toys, and snuggling up for cozy naps. In her new, smaller family, Tash receives plenty of attention and has settled in wonderfully. Her days are filled with love and happiness, and she thrives on the individual attention she receives. Tash's wagging tail and bright eyes are a testament to her contentment. This heartwarming transformation shows how love and companionship can bring out the best in a pet. Tash's journey from searching for a home to finding her happy ever after is a beautiful reminder of the joy that adoption can bring to both pets and their families.

Cleo Sydney (Northern Beaches)

Cleo, the adorable dachshund, has found her dream home and become a true daddy’s girl. In her new home, she enjoys one-on-one time with her devoted owner, relishing in the endless affection and attention. As the only dog in the house, Cleo is thoroughly spoiled and loves every minute of it. Her days are filled with fun and pampering, whether it's lounging on the couch, going for walks, or receiving belly rubs. Cleo thrives on the individual attention, and her sparkling eyes and happy demeanor show just how content she is. Cleo’s transformation from a dog seeking a home to the cherished center of her owner’s world is heartwarming. Her story is a beautiful example of the joy and fulfillment that come from a loving and attentive home. Cleo is living her best life, basking in the love and fuss she always deserved.

Otto (7 1/2 months) Standard Smooth – Southern Tablelands NSW

Otto needed to be rehomed as he wasn't getting on well with his dachsie brother. He was used to a home with 3 other dogs and a family so we wanted to find a new forever home with another dog that he would get on well with. Along came his new owner who had a teenage son and a Bassett Hound. The owner had a dachsie who had recently passed away so they were willing to meet and greet Otto . They took hm home on trial where he slept through the night . His new owners think he is just amazing.

Clyde (5) Mini Smooth Black & Tan – Lake Macquarie NSW

Due to a change in living circumstances Clyde found himself looking for a new home. He was soon adopted by his new owner who fell in love with him as soon as she brought him home . She said he was such a sweetie and adjusted well into his new environment from day one . It was an exhausting day for him but after having some food and drink he soon settled down for a cuddle and a big sleep. A handsome boy who found his forever home with a caring new owner.
