Darling Windy was a stray found in Windaroo QLD. 'She was nursed back to health by a dedicated caring vet nurse!' Then the stars aligned and Windy adopters welcomed her. xx Dear Karan Just thought I would give you a Windy update (it’s been 6 months already). Every day we see more and more of her personality come out. She adores her little spots in the sun. ☀️ And walks can be a little slow (omg - she has to sniff nose everything). She also definately luvs her treats (or 2). Ha ha - all quintessential dachsund traits 🙂 we are still working on her separation anxiety 😥 🐶 but luckily we are both home most of the time so that is not so much an issue. Thank you again for giving Windy this second chance. It’s like she has been ours forever 🩷 Lana

Sole, had a challenging first year to life. But things have turned around completely. He has found a very loving family, that are totally smitten with his charm. He has opened up his little personality and he is indeed the king of that castle. DRA are very thankful that Sole's adopters allowed him the space and time to settle. They have him in a routine that benefits him and them equally. Well I'm sure Sole would appreciate more couch time cuddles.

Cashew’s Happy Tail: From Anxious Pup to Office Legend! Cashew the dachshund has found his perfect forever home and he’s absolutely thriving! Now living as an only dog (just the way he likes it), Cashew has become the ultimate sidekick to his devoted adopter. The pair are inseparable, and Cashew has taken on the very important role of “office supervisor,” going to work each day and hanging out with the lads. Life has completely turned around for this curious, cuddly boy. With a calm environment, consistent routine, and someone who truly understands his needs, Cashew is more relaxed and content than ever. His daily one-hour walks remain a favourite part of his routine, helping him stay fit and burn off that signature Cashew energy. He’s kept busy with puzzle feeders, toys to shred, and plenty of bully sticks to gnaw on. His adopter has continued his training, reinforcing his excellent manners, sit, stay, leave it, potty, shake and respecting his need for space and predictability. And in return, Cashew has given nothing but unconditional love, loyalty, and a few cheeky antics around the workplace. From a pup who needed patience and understanding, to a confident little character with a job and a best mate, Cashew’s story is a true happy ending.
